About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach an on-campus graduate-level course in Introduction to Blockchain, Crypto-currencies & Analytics
- Provide instruction on blockchains, crypto-currencies, cryptographic protocols, hash, digital signatures, and smart contracts
- Educate students on decentralization using mining based on proof of work
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in applied analytics, computer science, or information technology
- Solid knowledge and academic foundation in statistics
- Deep understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms
- Proficiency in R and Python programming
- Professional experience in applied analytics, crypto, or blockchain
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in analytics-focused roles
- 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally at the graduate level
- Proficiency in JavaScript
