Adjunct Lecturer, Intro to Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies & Analytics

Responsibilities

• Teach an on-campus graduate-level course in Introduction to Blockchain, Crypto-currencies & Analytics
• Provide instruction on blockchains, crypto-currencies, cryptographic protocols, hash, digital signatures, and smart contracts
• Educate students on decentralization using mining based on proof of work

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in applied analytics, computer science, or information technology
• Solid knowledge and academic foundation in statistics
• Deep understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms
• Proficiency in R and Python programming
• Professional experience in applied analytics, crypto, or blockchain

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in analytics-focused roles
• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally at the graduate level
• Proficiency in JavaScript
