Adjunct Lecturer in Engineering Technologies and Applied Design

Responsibilities

• Teach ETAD 180: Graphic Communication and Design, covering principles and theories of graphic design
• Instruct students on the use of industry-standard software for visual communication
• Incorporate hands-on lab capacities into instruction, including t-shirt screen printing, vinyl cutting, laser cutting, and digital photography
• Manage a course load of up to two courses per semester starting August 2026

Requirements

• Strong foundation in design principles
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Submission of a portfolio containing at least ten images of previous Graphic Design work
• Submission of a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, and statement of teaching philosophy
• Provision of academic transcripts and contact information for three professional references
