About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach ETAD 180: Graphic Communication and Design, covering principles and theories of graphic design
- Instruct students on the use of industry-standard software for visual communication
- Incorporate hands-on lab capacities into instruction, including t-shirt screen printing, vinyl cutting, laser cutting, and digital photography
- Manage a course load of up to two courses per semester starting August 2026
Requirements
- Strong foundation in design principles
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Submission of a portfolio containing at least ten images of previous Graphic Design work
- Submission of a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, and statement of teaching philosophy
- Provision of academic transcripts and contact information for three professional references
