About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead class lectures, instructional activities, and classroom discussions
  • Attend all class sessions
  • Monitor and address student concerns and inquiries
  • Evaluate and grade student work and assessments
  • Conduct office hours

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Solid knowledge in distributed computing, UNIX fundamentals, and shell programming
  • Experience with Linux, cloud virtualization, and storage systems
  • 3+ years of professional experience with GCP, AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud
  • Knowledge of Python

Preferred Qualifications

  • University teaching experience
  • Experience configuring Google Cloud Platform services
  • Knowledge of Apache Spark and Kubernetes
