Adjunct Lecturer, Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIOT)

Responsibilities

• Lead class lectures, instructional activities, and classroom discussions
• Attend all class sessions
• Monitor and address student concerns and inquiries
• Evaluate and grade student work and assessments
• Conduct office hours

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Data Science, Applied Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
• 7+ years of professional experience in IoT, embedded systems, edge computing, cloud IoT, or data analytics/ML
• Proficiency with Python, Jupyter, pandas, and matplotlib
• Strong knowledge of AI fundamentals and machine learning applications
• Strong communication and student mentorship skills

Preferred Qualifications

• University teaching experience in graduate or professional programs
• Experience with project-based or lab-based courses
• Proficiency with MicroPython, Thonny, UIFlow2, or VS Code
• Hands-on familiarity with ESP32-class microcontrollers and MQTT
• Working knowledge of AWS IoT Core and related AWS analytics services
