Adjunct Lecturer, AI User Interfaces for Analytics

Responsibilities

• Lead class lectures, instructional activities, and classroom discussion
• Attend all class sessions (generally once per week for up to 2 hours)
• Monitor and address student concerns and inquiries
• Evaluate and grade student work and assessments
• Conduct office hours

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Python
• Good understanding of UX design and data visualization principles
• Proven industry experience in UX/UI and web development

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of related professional experience
• 2+ years of University teaching experience, ideally at the graduate level
• 2+ years of experience with cloud services on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience applying generative AI models for visualization
