Adjunct Instructors

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction for undergraduate or graduate courses in assigned disciplines.
• Contribute to the support and implementation of the University Strategic Plan.
• Participate in professional development opportunities provided by the University.
• Adhere to all University policies, procedures, and the Employment Standards and Lifestyle Agreement.
• Demonstrate a commitment to a Christian liberal arts education and the University's mission.
• For MEd adjuncts, develop course syllabi and select appropriate textbooks.

Requirements

• A graduate degree in the relevant field of study is required.
• A PhD or discipline-specific doctorate is preferred.
• A strong commitment to a Christian liberal arts education and the University's mission.
• For MEd and MAT positions, recent K-12 teaching experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching in a diverse, multicultural learning environment.
• Ability to support students through intellectual, social, and spiritual challenges.
• Expertise in specific subject areas such as Accounting, Math, English, Business, Psychology, or Social Science.
