Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate or graduate courses in specific disciplines such as Business, Psychology, Education, Math, or Social Science.
- Contribute to the support and implementation of the University Strategic Plan.
- Participate in professional development opportunities provided by the University.
- Adhere to all University policies, procedures, and the Employment Standards and Lifestyle Agreement.
- Demonstrate a commitment to a Christian liberal arts education and the University's mission.
- For MEd program adjuncts, develop syllabi and select appropriate textbooks.
Requirements
- A Master's degree is required for all adjunct positions.
- A PhD or discipline-specific doctorate is preferred.
- Ability to teach one evening per week in a part-time capacity.
- Commitment to the mission and lifestyle standards of a Christ-centered institution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent K-12 teaching experience for MEd and MAT adjunct positions.
- Experience teaching in an urban, diverse, or multicultural learning environment.
