Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective in-person instruction for ART 209 Typography and Text Design
- Prepare course materials and assessments aligned with departmental standards and learning outcomes
- Provide timely feedback and academic support to students
- Foster connections between typographic history, design principles, and contemporary applications
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Media, Visual Communication, or a closely related field, or significant industry experience
- Demonstrated ability to teach typography and design at the college level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to inclusive and student-centered teaching
- Must reside in either Pennsylvania or Maryland due to payroll limitations
