About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver instruction for primarily undergraduate courses within the Honors (Wesleyan Scholars) Program.
- Prepare lessons and adhere to the faculty handbook and established class schedules.
- Hold required office hours, maintain attendance, and submit syllabi, grades, and evaluations in a timely manner.
- Stay current with research activities in your respective discipline through journals and conferences.
- Participate in curriculum assessment and other duties as assigned by the Honors Director.
Requirements
- Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline being taught.
- Ability to work effectively with University personnel and comply with student record regulations.
- Strong communication skills for presenting information to students and faculty.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience at the college or university level.
- Demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence.
