Adjunct Instructor, Spanish

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned Spanish courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi
• Deliver instruction through in-person and/or synchronous virtual formats
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and delivery methods to meet diverse learning styles
• Foster a safe, civil, and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Inform students of course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies
• Monitor, evaluate, and document student attendance, progress, and competency attainment

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Spanish, or a Master’s degree with at least 12 graduate semester credits in Spanish
• Demonstrated effectiveness working with diverse populations, including varied cultures and backgrounds
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience in a higher education setting

Benefits

• Compensation of $1,123 per Equivalent Credit Hour (ECH)
