About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise nursing students in clinical environments to facilitate effective learning and the integration of theory and practice
  • Evaluate student clinical performance, reasoning skills, and progression toward program outcomes
  • Grade all clinical assignments and conduct scheduled mid-term and final evaluations
  • Provide guidance to students regarding professionalism, research, and evidence-based practice
  • Maintain effective communication with lead faculty regarding student progress and concerns
  • Collaborate with healthcare facility staff to ensure an optimum learning environment
  • Attend required orientations, training sessions, and faculty meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Two or more years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience
  • Current unencumbered Oregon RN license
  • Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing
  • Minimum of two years of teaching experience
