About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver instruction for primarily undergraduate courses within the School of Education
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and adhere to the faculty handbook and guide
- Meet all scheduled class times and hold required office hours
- Submit syllabi, grades, evaluations, and other required paperwork in a timely manner
- Participate in curriculum assessment and university-wide activities
- Maintain current knowledge of research in respective disciplines through professional reading and conferences
Requirements
- Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline being taught
- Ability to comply with FERPA and laws related to student records and confidentiality
- Ability to work effectively with university personnel and provide service to the community
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience at the college or university level
- Demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence
