Adjunct Instructor Pool-School of Education

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver instruction for primarily undergraduate courses within the School of Education
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and adhere to the faculty handbook and guide
• Meet all scheduled class times and hold required office hours
• Submit syllabi, grades, evaluations, and other required paperwork in a timely manner
• Participate in curriculum assessment and university-wide activities
• Maintain current knowledge of research in respective disciplines through professional reading and conferences

Requirements

• Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline being taught
• Ability to comply with FERPA and laws related to student records and confidentiality
• Ability to work effectively with university personnel and provide service to the community

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior teaching experience at the college or university level
• Demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence
