About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver instruction for primarily undergraduate courses within the School of Business.
- Prepare lessons and adhere to the faculty handbook and established class schedules.
- Hold required office hours and submit syllabi, grades, and evaluations in a timely manner.
- Maintain current knowledge of research activities in respective disciplines through journals and conferences.
- Participate in curriculum assessment and other departmental or university-wide activities.
- Disciplines include Accounting, General Business, Finance, Forensic Accounting/Fraud, Data Analytics, Management, Marketing, Business Law, Health Care Management, and Supply Chain Management.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 18 graduate credit hours in the specific discipline being taught.
- For Accounting roles, a licensed CPA with appropriate work experience is required.
- Ability to comply with rules, standards, and regulations related to student records.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present information to students and faculty.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience at the college or university level.
- Evidence of teaching excellence.
- Relevant professional work experience in the specific business discipline.
