About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver instruction for undergraduate courses within the Ram Success Programs, specifically in Reading, English, and Math.
- Prepare lessons and adhere to the faculty handbook and university guidelines.
- Meet all scheduled class times and hold required office hours.
- Submit syllabi, grades, evaluations, and other required academic paperwork in a timely manner.
- Participate in curriculum assessment and stay current with research in the respective discipline.
- Collaborate effectively with university personnel and participate in departmental or university-wide activities as assigned.
Requirements
- For Developmental level: Bachelor's degree in the field plus 18 graduate hours in the teaching field.
- For Undergraduate (UG) level: Master's degree plus 18 graduate hours in the teaching field.
- For Graduate (GR) level: PhD or terminal degree in the field.
- Ability to comply with all rules, standards, and regulations related to student records and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience at the college or university level.
- Demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence.
