Adjunct Instructor Pool - Graduate Education

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver instruction primarily for graduate-level education courses.
• Prepare comprehensive lessons and adhere to the faculty handbook and university guidelines.
• Meet all scheduled class times and hold required office hours.
• Submit syllabi, book requests, grades, evaluations, and other required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Stay current with research in the discipline through journal reading and professional conferences.
• Participate in curriculum assessment and other departmental or university-wide activities as assigned.

Requirements

• Ed.D. or an earned doctorate in a relevant field.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certification.
• Ability to comply with FERPA and all laws related to student records and confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively with university personnel and provide service to the community.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior teaching experience at the college or university level.
• Demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence.
