Adjunct Instructor Pool - Dual Credit

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver instruction to students using appropriate college resources, materials, and educational technologies.
• Assist in the development of curricula, including individual course syllabi.
• Design and maintain an active classroom environment conducive to student learning.
• Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and assign grades consistent with course requirements.
• Maintain accurate student attendance records.
• Participate in institutional effectiveness programs, including the preparation of Student Outcomes Assessment Plans (SOAPs).
• Teach classes based on varied schedules (morning, afternoon, evening, and weekends) to accommodate diverse student needs.

Requirements

• Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 18 graduate hours in the specific discipline being taught.
• Ability to comply with university policies, departmental procedures, and FERPA laws regarding student records.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
