About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lab Director with teaching and supervising second-year physical therapy students in exercise physiology principles and therapeutic exercise
- Lead weekly discussions on specific assigned content areas during lab sessions
- Manage grading responsibilities, including reviewing video submissions and conducting two practical exams
- Support the 3-credit Physiology of Activity course through scheduled Monday lab sessions
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Current Wisconsin licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in any setting
- Strong knowledge of exercise prescription and therapeutic exercise
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an outpatient clinical setting
