Master's degree in Communication, College-level teaching experience preferred, Ability to hold courses in person on campus
About the role
Responsibilities
- Hold courses as scheduled in person on the Naperville campus
- Teach Introduction to Public Speaking and other courses within the communication curriculum
- Assess student work and provide constructive, timely feedback on content knowledge, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Mentor first-year undergraduate students to assist with their transition to college life
- Maintain and update course sites using the Canvas learning management system
- Hold regular weekly office hours to support student success
- Attend professional development workshops related to teaching and the first-year curriculum

- Ability to hold courses in person on campus
- Commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous college-level teaching experience
