Adjunct Instructor of Business

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in business disciplines including Health Care Administration, Human Resource Management, Finance, Accounting, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, and Entrepreneurship
• Articulate and model current best practices in teaching and pedagogy
• Advise and mentor students to support their academic and professional growth
• Engage in scholarly activity and participate in ongoing program development and evaluation
• Collaborate collegially with faculty, staff, and students to support the university mission
• Promote the mission, values, and core themes of Warner Pacific University

Requirements

• Master of Science in Health Care Administration, Human Resource Management, Finance, Accounting, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or a related field
• Previous college-level teaching experience in a relevant curriculum
• A successful professional record in business settings
• Strong knowledge of current industry practices and trends
• Ability to uphold the university's mission and Employment Standards/Lifestyle Agreement

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional industry experience in a relevant business field
• Experience working with diverse student populations
