Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct classroom and laboratory teaching experiences
  • Evaluate student performance in practicum, laboratory, and classroom settings
  • Maintain academic standards established by the School of Nursing, college, and university
  • Participate in course and program development, including planning and implementation
  • Engage in professional growth and incorporate new nursing techniques into instruction

Requirements

  • Master's degree in nursing
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
  • Proven experience in clinical nursing practice

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience instructing or precepting nursing students
