Responsibilities
- Provide academic and practicum instruction within the JoAnne Gay Dishman School of Nursing
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct classroom and laboratory teaching experiences
- Evaluate student performance in practicum, laboratory, and classroom settings
- Maintain academic standards established by the School of Nursing, college, and university
- Participate in course and program development, including planning and implementation
- Engage in professional growth and incorporate new nursing techniques into instruction
Requirements
- Master's degree in nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
- Proven experience in clinical nursing practice
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience instructing or precepting nursing students
