Adjunct Instructor (Microbiology Lab)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction for microbiology laboratory sections
• Instruct students in safe laboratory procedures and biosafety protocols
• Demonstrate proper use of microscopes and other science laboratory equipment
• Explain and observe student performance during learning assessments
• Monitor student progress and facilitate participation in learning activities
• Grade laboratory assessments and assignments
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Hands-on expertise with science laboratory equipment
• Proficiency in sterile techniques and microscopy
• Strong understanding of biosafety protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• Previous teaching experience

About the Company

Atlantic Cape Community College is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor to deliver high-quality microbiology laboratory instruction at our Mays Landing Campus. This is a daytime role specifically required for Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00pm-2:15pm during the Fall semester.
