About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction for microbiology laboratory sections
- Instruct students in safe laboratory procedures and biosafety protocols
- Demonstrate proper use of microscopes and other science laboratory equipment
- Explain and observe student performance during learning assessments
- Monitor student progress and facilitate participation in learning activities
- Grade laboratory assessments and assignments
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Hands-on expertise with science laboratory equipment
- Proficiency in sterile techniques and microscopy
- Strong understanding of biosafety protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Previous teaching experience

About the Company
Atlantic Cape Community College is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor to deliver high-quality microbiology laboratory instruction at our Mays Landing Campus. This is a daytime role specifically required for Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00pm-2:15pm during the Fall semester.
