Adjunct Instructor, Mathematics

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned mathematics courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and delivery methods to meet diverse student learning styles
• Foster a safe, civil, and inclusive learning environment
• Inform students of course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies
• Monitor, evaluate, and document student attendance, progress, and competency attainment
• Provide instruction through face-to-face and/or online formats

Requirements

• Master of Mathematics or a Master's degree with at least 12 graduate semester credits in Mathematics
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 6 graduate semester credits in Statistics
• Previous teaching experience
