About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare course materials including syllabi, lesson plans, assessments, and exams
- Teach Legal Research and Writing to LLM students, focusing on research skills, persuasion, and written communication
- Provide a classroom environment conducive to learning and use Canvas for course management
- Grade student work and provide timely, constructive written feedback
- Hold office hours to provide individualized direction and assessment of student progress
- Adhere to all University and College of Law policies and complete required training
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school or equivalent
- Five years of post-J.D. work experience in legal practice or a related field
- Effective communication skills and professional demeanor

- Demonstrated teaching potential
