Adjunct Instructor, Initial and Advanced Educator Licensing

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned education courses using evidence-based instruction practices in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, or asynchronous).
• Provide a supportive learning environment and facilitate effective student learning.
• Adhere to course curricula, methods, and lesson plans developed by the School of Education.
• Conduct regular student assessments and provide timely graded feedback on homework, quizzes, and exams.
• Utilize online learning management systems (such as Moodle) to assign work, communicate with students, and manage grading.
• Maintain regular availability for student meetings by holding scheduled office hours.
• Participate in department orientation and required trainings.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Education or a related field.
• Proven teaching or instructional experience.
• Active or recent Oregon educator license.
• Proficiency with educational technology, including Microsoft Office and learning management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Education.
• Experience teaching in-service educators.
