Adjunct Instructor in Education

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging instruction for teacher preparatory courses at the undergraduate or graduate level
• Develop comprehensive course plans using prior syllabi and master course outlines to meet established standards
• Assess student learning through evaluating and grading student work
• Cultivate a classroom culture of character conducive to student growth and development
• Hold office hours to support student success and academic progress
• Collaborate effectively with a diverse community of students, faculty, and staff

Requirements

• Master's degree in Education or a related field
• Valid teacher licensure
• Proven K-12 teaching experience
• Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational, time management, and planning abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Education or a related field
