About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as adjunct faculty for the didactic phase of the Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) program
- Deliver instruction in either a traditional classroom setting or a simulation center
- Execute teaching responsibilities for courses during summer, fall, and/or spring semesters
- Provide quality education and mentorship to nurse anesthesia students
- Maintain professional standards and comply with all University, departmental, and FERPA regulations regarding student records
Requirements
- CRNA Certification
- Texas Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure
- Master's degree in nurse anesthesia or a higher comparable degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CRNA
- Previous experience in higher education or clinical teaching
