Adjunct Instructor for Writing

Responsibilities

• Teach writing, research, and information literacy classes for undergraduate and graduate programs
• Contribute to the support and implementation of the University Strategic Plan
• Participate in professional development opportunities provided by the University
• Adhere to all University policies, procedures, and employment standards
• Demonstrate a commitment to a Christian liberal arts education and the University mission
• Exhibit commitment to inclusiveness and sensitivity regarding national origin, ethnicity, culture, gender, and disabilities

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field (required)
• Experience teaching writing, research, or information literacy
• Ability to uphold the University's mission and Employment Standards and Lifestyle Agreement
• Commitment to a Christ-centered educational environment

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD or discipline-specific doctorate degree
