Adjunct Instructor for Writing

Responsibilities

• Teach writing, research, and information literacy classes for undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Contribute to the support and implementation of the University Strategic Plan.
• Participate in professional development opportunities provided by the University.
• Adhere to all University policies, procedures, and employment standards.
• Demonstrate a commitment to a Christian liberal arts education by upholding the University mission.
• Foster an inclusive and sensitive learning environment regarding national origin, ethnicity, culture, gender, and disabilities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Proven experience teaching writing, research, or information literacy.
• Demonstrated commitment to a Christian liberal arts education and the University's mission.
• Ability to uphold the University's Employment Standards and Lifestyle Agreement.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD or a discipline-specific doctorate degree.
