Adjunct Instructor for the Department of Occupational Therapy

Responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate lecture and/or lab courses within the Department of Occupational Therapy at the Springfield College Campus.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on assignments and discussions.
• Facilitate active communication with students to support their learning and professional growth.
• Collaborate with the OT Program Director and other faculty to ensure course content meets program standards and objectives.
• Participate in curriculum development and course revision as needed.

Requirements

• Initial certification as an occupational therapist.
• OT Licensure in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts.
• Documented experience in the specific content area of the course focus.
• Must reside in one of the following states: MA, CT, WI, DE, TX, VT, or FL.
• Strong commitment to student success and academic excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of clinical experience.
• Previous teaching experience and/or experience serving as a fieldwork educator.
• Familiarity with online learning systems such as Brightspace.
