Responsibilities
- Teach assigned lower and upper division courses in psychology or human development on the traditional campus
- Model current best practices in teaching and demonstrate a commitment to sound pedagogical practices
- Advise and mentor students throughout the course
- Provide prompt and thorough feedback to students to support their academic growth
- Work collegially with faculty, staff, and students to support the university community
- Promote the mission, values, and core themes of Warner Pacific University
- Adhere to university policies, procedures, and the Employment Standards and Lifestyle Agreement
Requirements
- Graduate degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field
- Completion of graduate-level coursework in psychology
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Psychology
- Professional experience in the field of psychology
- Previous college-level teaching experience in a relevant curriculum
- Experience working with diverse student populations
