Adjunct Instructor for Psychology

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned lower and upper division courses in psychology or human development on the traditional campus.
• Model current best practices in teaching and demonstrate a commitment to sound pedagogical practices.
• Advise and mentor students throughout the course.
• Provide prompt and thorough feedback to students to support their academic growth.
• Work collegially with faculty, staff, and students to support the university community.
• Promote the mission, values, and core themes of Warner Pacific University.
• Demonstrate a commitment to a Christian liberal arts education and adhere to university policies.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• Completion of graduate-level coursework in psychology.
• Commitment to the mission and Christian identity of Warner Pacific University.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Psychology.
• Professional experience in the field of psychology.
• Previous college-level teaching experience in a relevant curriculum.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
