Adjunct Instructor for DMS

Responsibilities

• Provide didactic, laboratory, and clinical instruction in assigned Diagnostic Medical Sonography courses
• Evaluate student academic and clinical performance using established assessment methods
• Maintain accurate course records, including grades, attendance, and required documentation
• Supervise clinical instruction through on-site clinical visits and regular communication with preceptors
• Support student success through scheduled office hours, advising, and mentoring
• Assist with curriculum implementation and adherence to accreditation standards

Requirements

• Associate's Degree
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a registered sonographer
• Current, valid RDMS credential in Abdomen and OB/GYN through ARDMS
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Five years of full-time professional experience as a registered sonographer in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular sonography
