Adjunct Instructor for College Writing

Responsibilities

• Instruct the first-year College Writing sequence
• Deliver engaging instruction to students with varied levels of academic preparation
• Demonstrate creativity and flexibility in teaching methodologies

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in English, Composition, or a related field
• Previous college-level teaching experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching styles to meet diverse student needs

Benefits

• Compensation for adjunct faculty with fewer than 3 years of college teaching experience: $2,820 per 3-credit course
• Compensation for adjunct faculty with 3 or more years of college teaching experience: $3,513 per 3-credit course
• Note: This position is not eligible for benefits
