Adjunct Instructor Exercise Science & Wellness

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned undergraduate and graduate courses in areas such as Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Sports Nutrition, and Strength and Conditioning
• Prepare comprehensive course materials, including lectures, assignments, and assessments
• Deliver high-quality instruction in classroom or experiential settings
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate attendance and grade records in accordance with departmental policies
• Provide student support through office hours and mentoring
• Stay current with emerging developments in exercise science and related health disciplines

Requirements

• Master's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or a related field
• Subject matter expertise in exercise science or related health sciences
• Proven record of effective teaching practices and instructional skills
• Strong communication and organizational abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in a relevant field
• Previous college-level teaching experience
• Professional certifications such as ACSM, NSCA-CSCS, or NASM
• Experience utilizing online learning platforms
