About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned courses in accordance with established course competencies and syllabi
- Develop and utilize various instructional strategies and delivery methods to meet diverse student learning styles
- Foster a safe, civil, and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Inform students regarding course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies
- Monitor, evaluate, and document student attendance, progress, and competency attainment
Requirements
- Master of Biology including at least two Environmental Biology courses, OR a Master's degree with at least 12 graduate semester credits in Biology including two Environmental Biology courses
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience in a higher education setting
Benefits
- Compensation of $1,101 per Equivalent Credit Hour (ECH)
