Adjunct Instructor, Developmental and Technical Mathematics

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned developmental and technical mathematics courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and delivery methods to meet diverse student learning styles
• Foster a safe, civil, and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Inform students of course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies
• Monitor, evaluate, and document student attendance, progress, and competency attainment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education, or secondary teacher licensure in Mathematics
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with individuals from varied backgrounds
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or a Master’s degree with at least 12 graduate semester credits in Mathematics
• Previous teaching experience
