Adjunct Instructor, Dentistry

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and preclinical instruction to dental students
• Deliver direct patient care within the Center for Excellence
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient-centered oral health care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and maintenance
• Promote the mission of LMU-CDM by fostering an atmosphere of respect, collegiality, and professionalism
• Demonstrate a commitment to diversity and social justice

Requirements

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited institution (for general dentists)
• Completion of a CODA-accredited advanced education program (for specialty dentists)
• Minimum of ten years of clinical practice experience, which may include post-graduate residency

Preferred Qualifications

• Eligibility for dental licensure in Tennessee
• Board certification or eligibility in a dental specialty
• Minimum of five years of experience in academics, clinical research, and community clinical practice
