Adjunct Instructor - Critical Reading and Comprehension

Responsibilities

• Teach one-credit Critical Reading and Comprehension courses to improve students' academic reading and critical thinking skills
• Support students in learning to independently study college-level texts across various disciplines
• Facilitate in-person classes that meet once per week
• Help students adjust to the university environment and meet their academic goals

Requirements

• Experience teaching developmental reading and/or writing
• Ability to work onsite at either the Florham Campus (Madison, NJ) or the Metropolitan Campus (Teaneck, NJ)
• Ability to pass a satisfactory background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• High school teaching experience
