Adjunct Instructor, CEDE and Senior Design

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly team meetings to review project progress, address challenges, and plan upcoming work
• Mentor student teams in defining project scope and guiding them through the design process to meet milestones
• Review technical and project management work, providing constructive feedback and coaching problem-solving skills
• Monitor team performance and dynamics, including resolving collaboration issues
• Assess and assign individual grades based on communication, teamwork, project management, and design outcomes
• Review and approve student-prepared budgets, manufacturing plans, and technical reports
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between student teams and project sponsors or clients

Requirements

• Master's degree in engineering or a related field, or a bachelor's degree with equivalent professional experience
• Ability to mentor student teams and lead weekly meetings
• Background in Civil, Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior teaching experience at the university level
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality educational experiences to a diverse student population
