Adjunct Instructor - Biology

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned introductory biology and microbiology lecture and laboratory classes
• Prepare course materials consistent with departmental learning objectives
• Provide timely grading and feedback to students
• Provide guidance and support to students to foster critical thinking and academic success

Requirements

• Progress toward a PhD in a field of biology (all but dissertation) OR a Master's degree in a field of biology
• Ability to teach in-person during general work hours
• Ability to move around the classroom or laboratory environment

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD, MD, or terminal degree in a biology or health-related field
• Experience teaching introductory biology courses at the college or high school levels
