Adjunct Instructor, Biology, Biostatistics, Genomics

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned biostatistics and/or phage genomics courses to Biology majors in an in-person setting.
• Prepare course materials that align with departmental learning objectives.
• Provide timely grading and constructive feedback to students.
• Offer academic guidance and support to foster student success and critical thinking.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD degree in biology or a related field.
• Proficiency in R and R Studio software environments (required for biostatistics instruction).
• Comfort using common genomics software tools (required for phage genomics instruction).
• Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching biology courses at the college level.
