About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi
- Develop and utilize various instructional strategies and delivery methods to meet diverse learning styles
- Foster a safe, civil, and productive learning environment for all students
- Inform students regarding course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies
- Monitor, evaluate, and document student attendance, progress, and competency attainment
Requirements
- Associate degree or diploma in the subject area
- 1.5 years of non-teaching work experience related to the specific course with an Associate's Degree, OR 3 years of non-teaching work experience with a diploma
- Demonstrated effectiveness working with diverse populations, including varied cultures and backgrounds
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience in the automotive or collision repair field
