About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction on Air Traffic Control topics and procedures using a Tower Simulation System
  • Ensure compliance with FAA procedures related to Air Traffic - College Training Initiative (AT-CTI) requirements
  • Mentor students through the FAA ATC application process

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of experience in an Air Traffic Control tower or Radar Approach Control
  • FAA issued Certified Professional Controller certificate
  • Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Adacel TSS

  • Compensation of $780 per contact hour
  • Tuition Waiver: Adjuncts may enroll for one credit course, tuition-free, during any semester they are teaching
