About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach one section of CRIM 215 (Gender, Race, and Crime) or CRIM 260 (Criminology) for the Fall 2026 semester.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs and encourage critical thinking.
- Facilitate in-person instruction on the Springfield, MA campus.
- Manage course content related to criminal justice policies, crime patterns, and social/political processes.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree required for all courses.
- MS, MA, or MEd required for graduate-level courses.
- Must reside in one of the following states: MA, CT, WI, DE, TX, VT, or FL.
- Ability to teach in person on the Springfield, MA campus.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated success in classroom instruction and student engagement.
