Responsibilities
- Teach in-seat general education courses at the Jefferson City Correctional Center prison program
- Engage students with ideas, concepts, and practices of the specific discipline from an orthodox, evangelical perspective
- Provide effective teaching and student mentoring within a correctional facility setting
- Maintain availability for one half-day per week during standard business hours
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- At least 18 graduate credit hours in one of the following disciplines: English, literature, mathematics, biological science, physical science, health and fitness, speech communication, music, art, history, government, or philosophy
- Commitment to the Christian faith and values consistent with the Baptist tradition
- Ability to pass Missouri Department of Corrections (MDOC) background and screening checks
- Availability to teach onsite in Jefferson City for one half-day per week
