Adjunct Faculty

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Theology, Religion, or General Education Religion curriculum
• Participate in pedagogical efforts to meet student learning outcomes for BA programs
• Utilize the university's learning management system and required instructional methodologies
• Maintain appropriate record keeping for assigned classes and assessments
• Honor academic timelines for midterm/final exams and grade submissions
• Communicate timely with students and the Department Chair (within 24 hours)
• Mentor students regarding their educational and career goals

Requirements

• Master of Religion from an accredited institution in a specific applied area
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse population of students
• Knowledge of, and commitment to, the university’s philosophy, mission, and core values

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior university teaching experience or equivalent professional experience
