Adjunct Faculty - Video Production I

Responsibilities

• Teach Video Production I for the Spring 2026 term within the Division of Art and Design.
• Instruct students on basic strategies for shooting, sound recording, and digital video editing.
• Guide students through hands-on experiences and professional video analysis to master fundamental communication elements.
• Facilitate collaborative learning by teaching students how to work effectively within a production team.
• Oversee student projects as they take on various roles in short-form video production.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of professional experience in video production demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.
• A portfolio demonstrating high-quality video work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook).
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with production equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with additional industry software such as Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, or Media Encoder.
