About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach Video Production I for the Spring 2026 term within the Division of Art and Design.
- Instruct students on basic strategies for shooting, sound recording, and digital video editing.
- Guide students through hands-on experiences and professional video analysis to master fundamental communication elements.
- Facilitate collaborative learning by teaching students how to work effectively within a production team.
- Oversee student projects as they take on various roles in short-form video production.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional experience in video production demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.
- A portfolio demonstrating high-quality video work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook).
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with production equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with additional industry software such as Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, or Media Encoder.
