About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach an upper-level Typography II course focusing on functionality and typographic structure
- Lead class discussions, projects, and critiques regarding the role of typography in contemporary design
- Instruct students on the relationship between type and image
- Guide students through advanced techniques for setting type, including text type and typographic hierarchy
Requirements
- College-level teaching experience
- Proficiency with the Mac operating system
- Advanced experience with Adobe Photoshop
- Advanced experience with Adobe Illustrator
- Advanced experience with Adobe InDesign
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional design industry experience
