Adjunct Faculty

Responsibilities

• Serve as an adjunct instructor or clinical supervisor within educator preparation programs
• Teach undergraduate students in face-to-face formats on the Davenport campus
• Support teacher candidates in field-based and student teaching placements in the Quad City area
• Provide expertise in specialized areas including K-6 Literacy, 5-8 Literacy, K-12 ESL, or Early Childhood Education

Requirements

• Master's degree in education or a closely related field
• Proven K-12 teaching experience in relevant educational settings
• Expertise in one or more of the following: K-6/5-8 Literacy, ESL, or Early Childhood Education with Inclusive Settings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting teacher candidates or mentoring preservice teachers
• Experience working in diverse and inclusive school environments
