Adjunct Faculty: Sociology

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate sociology courses, primarily Introduction to Sociology
• Grade student work and respond to student inquiries via email
• Hold regularly scheduled office hours
• Communicate regularly with the course coordinator
• Monitor and communicate student course progress

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Sociology or a closely related field
• Significant professional experience
• Ability to reside and work from Minnesota or Wisconsin
• High level of intercultural competency
• Commitment to inclusive practice and authentic representation

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Sociology or related field
• Undergraduate teaching experience
