About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate sociology courses, primarily Introduction to Sociology
- Grade student work and respond to student inquiries via email
- Hold regularly scheduled office hours
- Communicate regularly with the course coordinator
- Monitor and communicate student course progress
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Sociology or a closely related field
- Significant professional experience
- Ability to reside and work from Minnesota or Wisconsin
- High level of intercultural competency
- Commitment to inclusive practice and authentic representation
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Sociology or related field
- Undergraduate teaching experience
